I'm Olli Laasonen from Finland and I develop mainly Linux and Web applications, which hopefully make people's lifes easier. I started coding Web Applications in 2008 with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, XHTML and CSS, but in 2009 I got intrested in developing desktop and mobile applications for Linux platform. My favorite language is currently Python, because it's fast to write, simple and cross-platform.
I'm currently studying for Bachelor of Science in Information Technology degree in Turku University of Applied Sciences. I'm planning to specialize in Embedded Systems next year.

Who is calling?
This application shows caller's name and optionally address, if caller is unknown. Application has two parts: daemon and configuration-panel. You can find configuration-panel from Maemo's settings. From there you can versatilely customize the daemon. It has plugin system for phone book services. It currently has only plugin for Eniro's services, which have only 0.25€ registration fee.

Olli's schedules
Project's idea is to provide user-friendly and lightweight schedule-service. This schedule-system was my degree work on Business Information Technology. Its currently outdated and online for only demonstration purposes.

Sanakirja.org Dictionary Client
Project's idea is to provide simple translator for Maemo platform. It uses python, gtk and hildon. Application got downloaded 11 556 times from maemo.org on it's release day.
